Terms of Service

Chhakkadi is a free card game. Play fairly, be decent to the people you are playing with, and do not try to break the game or other players’ accounts. There is nothing to buy, nothing to win and no money involved. You can stop and delete your account at any time, and so can we if these terms are broken.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Chhakkadi ("we", "us") covering the website at chhakkadi.endra.in and the Chhakkadi Android app. By playing, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the game.

How we handle your data is set out separately, in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Who can play

The game is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the game only with a parent or guardian’s permission. You are responsible for making sure playing an online card game is lawful where you are.

Playing as a guest or with an account

Most of the game needs no account at all: you can create rooms, join them with a code and play against bots as a guest. An account adds friends, chat, invites and saved statistics.

• Give accurate sign-up details, and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account — do not share it or let someone else play on it as you.
• If you think someone else has got into your account, email support@endra.in.

Fair play

The game is only worth playing if everyone is playing it honestly. So, no:

• Bots, scripts, modified clients or anything else that plays for you.
• Reading cards you were not dealt, or any other attempt to see hidden game state.
• Colluding with another player against the rest of the table, or sharing your hand outside the game.
• Deliberately abandoning games, stalling, or disconnecting to deny other players a result.
• Running several accounts at one table.

How to behave towards other players

Chat and voice put you in front of real people. Do not harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone, do not post sexual content involving minors or anything else illegal, do not impersonate other players, and do not use the chat to advertise or to send people to other sites.

You can report a player from a chat and block them; blocking stops messages, friend requests and invites in both directions. Reports are read by a person.

What you post

Your display name, profile picture and messages remain yours. By sending them through the game you allow us to store and show them to the players they are meant for — that is all the permission we take, and it exists only so the game can deliver them. Content that breaks these terms may be removed.

Voice chat

Voice is optional and off until you join it. Audio travels directly between players’ devices and is never recorded by us. Everything in these terms about behaviour applies to what you say on voice as much as to what you type.

Do not attack the service

• No attempting to break into accounts, servers or game rooms you are not part of.
• No reverse engineering, decompiling or tampering with the app or its network traffic to gain an advantage.
• No scraping, automated account creation, or flooding the servers with traffic.
• Found a security problem? Tell us at support@endra.in rather than using it — we would rather fix it.

It is free, and there is nothing to win

Chhakkadi is free to play. There are no purchases, no subscriptions, no virtual currency and no prizes. Nothing in the game has monetary value, scores and statistics included, and the game is not a gambling service and does not support wagering of any kind.

The game will change, and sometimes it will be down

We add games, change rules-handling, fix things and occasionally take the servers down to do it. The service is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available, that a game in progress will always finish, or that statistics will never be lost. Features may be changed or withdrawn.

Ending it

You can stop playing whenever you like, and delete your account and everything in it from your profile — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, particularly for cheating or for abuse of other players. Where it is reasonable to do so we will say why first, and you can reply to that decision at support@endra.in.

Liability

The game is provided without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost game progress or statistics, or for what other players say or do. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall to the courts of India, without affecting any rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and significant changes are announced in the app. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the revised terms.
